When you needed tips and insights learning a technique or a study piece they were always fast getting back to you when you had a question.Ĭlassical Guitar shed has been a great course so far and I’m still a beginner well, I’ve started at the beginning of the course so kind of fill in the gaps in my knowledge I’ve been a musician for most of my life actually, mainly playing bass. I can safely say that his “Shed” study levels and bonus pieces were a tremendous asset in learning. I felt I needed more guidance in refreshing my memory in relearning the techniques required to reading sheet music and playing and so I started searching the internet and came across Allen’s methods. The books were ok, but, unlike riding a bicycle, returning to playing the classical guitar requires a little more concentration and thought. I dug out my old guitar from the closet and my old Aaron Shearer books from fifty years ago and slowly started playing simple studies. Than just a few months prior to joining the “Shed”, the majority of the pain started to dissipate and the sensation of touch started to return to my fingers allowing me to fret notes and chords. Due to nerve damage I had extreme pain and disability in my left neck, shoulder, arm, hand and fingers. Due to personal circumstances I was not able to pick up the guitar and play for almost half of those fifty years.
