The mobile app features are decent and somewhat helpful to review on occasion. Charging a nearly depleted BMW i3 60Ah battery takes a little over 3 hours. If I need to move the charger or take it with me simply unlock the JB and it's off the wall in seconds. The unit easily slides onto the wall bracket and is secured by using the included keys.
Simply plug it in and it begins charging without the need for WiFi configuration or extra steps. The Good: The JB40 works right out of the box without frills. This was not a task for the faint of heart or someone who isn't comfortable working with electrical. I installed my own 50amp circuit in garage using 6 gauge copper wire. For the record, this one did not include any packing material within the box either. So I called Amazon and they cross shipped an entirely new/open box JB unit. I called the folks at Enet (manufacturer of the JB) to see and they offered to sell me a replacement wall mount for $40. Come to find out the wall bracket was missing. Even though it was bothersome to see none of the typical paper or cushioning material in the box at least there was no damage to the unit. The unit arrived loose within an original JuiceBox box. I bought an open Juicebox 40 directly from Amazon. Best imes to call for me were 10:00 PM Eastern or later like 2:00 AM. I spent hours trying to get connected and I was cut off at times sometimes with leave us your telephone number and message and sometimes just cut off. Finally, the we are experiencing high call volume is real. EV is charged over 80% so I do not know if 80 percent limit will work. The issue is still not resolved but the latest developments are when I loaded the new app two chargers came up on the app and the subsequent service call required me to remove the extra charger by unlinking it. You guessed correctly if you thought that I called support again. I loaded the new app but the charger went over the 80% charge set. First time I tried to charge using the old app it did not work and I was told that I needed to get the new app because the server was looking for the new app. The old app allowed me to access Juice Net. During one of the numerous suppsort calls, I was told that Juice Net was looking for the server with the old app so I needed to change to the old app. I first used the old and was told to go to the new app. Nest problem is that there is an old an new app.
You only need to connect to Juice Net once and enter your home wi-fi.

We got connected to Juice Net with Android phone. I spent hours with support trying to connect with IOS phones. Supposedly, you can use android or IOS to connect to Juice Net. Connecting to house wi-fi was a nightmare.
